A Dedication

I don't usually write on this blog, but every now and then I decide to write things up on a few occasions. I wanna put some time into a dedication for a good friend of mine. He might be living a thousand miles away but I admire him as the most successful Machinimator and friend ever. None of his success was from luck, this was a pure showcase of skill, talent and hardwork and he deserves every second of happiness from this achievement. (and all the past ones :P)

We started machinima at about the same time and we only met after a tough competition. After the competitive atmosphere settled, I decided to befriend the fellow competitors. I'm glad I did! We both placed "Honorable Mention" and from that day we decided to work our skills up together and help each other out.

That same guy now has won several contests back to back, his creativity and imagination which he pours in his videos is something else. I was lucky enough to get some lessons from him :P If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have been able to pull off any of my recent videos! I owe all my subscribers to him. I'm kinda slacking behind the editing but I'll catch up in time to repay him for the time he took to explain my slow little head AE.

The 21st and 22nd has been a MAJOR thrill to the machinima community. The 2009 Blizzcon contest! ... tsk who needs a corny comedian and even cornier band... (I'm sorry but their live performance is icky.. just MY opinion) The Machinima Contest was the real show of the whole Blizzcon.

Unfortunately my entry sadly did not place, but I really have no regret. I pulled off a watchable movie in 2 days time which is enough of an achievement for me. However, to see the person who took just a little more hours time than me grasp the Grand Prize was simply amazing. "Not funny" my ass -_-... "Pretty fail" my god damn ass!!! The moment you sent me that video I knew it was guaranteed a spot no matter the odds.

On my part, I plan to continue the Dude What's My Class stuff but I'll only make my second in December which is after my major exams. I will also release Gigi's video as well as my very own movie with an actual story which will steal your hearts :D *hopefully*

Anyways, I'm gonna eat a pizza now so once again, Congrats to you dude, no matter what people say, you deserve this and never stop what you do! I've always looked up to you dude so don't ever change that!

lol my blog sucks :P

The 24th was NOT my day!

OMG the 24th was so horrible and allow me to explain to you retards reading this why!

1) From the night of the 23rd all the way to the end of 24th, I was unable to submit my Blizcon entry (yes I made one) because of Blizzard's awesome website.

2) Being pissed because of 1), I decided to blow off some steam on a bike ride. The thing is, I fell doing a wheelie... I went a little too high. So after getting up, I realized my hands were too fucked to participate in the upcoming race on the 2nd.

3) On my wonderful bloody journey back home, I freaked out my parents being drenched in blood. And then looking back at my bike, I realized the footpeg vaporized.

4) It was then 3 hours left in submission time after I got myself mummified in bandages. I had a party to attend to in 1 hour. The submission page STILL had an error. I simply gave up.

5) I went to the party in hopes of getting rid of my sadness and failurosities. It failed. With all those covered up injuries nobody saw, I experienced a living hell every time people brushed against my shoulder and arm and when idiot friends would lean on my shoulder and pull my arm. When I got home, I realized my bandages were drenched because the wounds kept opening. (I bet you're all like EWWW right now)

6) I got home tired as a.. uhm... as... IDK I got home tired!!! So I went to sleep.. which was at like 4 am.

But here is where it got a little better...

1) I woke up at 8 because I failed to sleep mummified like the ones in egypt. (yes its good because...)

2) I switched on my pc and got spam from my good sir X-Cross that there is hope for my failure entry to be submitted. It had been extended by 12 hours.

3) I looked at the PST time and realized I had only 1 hour left to submit. (If i decided to sleep in which is usually me waking up at 3 or 5... damn that would have sucked.)

4) I managed to submit my entry even though I doubt it'll be any good in the competition.

5) There was a Solero left in the freezer for me to nom nom nom.

Seriously it was pretty fail, I hated that day but I'm about to have a few worse days... The day my results get to my parents, I hope I'll still be alive to write in this shitty blog!

The Past Few Months...

Hello Blogger,

It's been a very long time since I've ever written anything here but I finally decided it's time. For the past few months, a lot of things has happened to me in machinima and real life that you'll be getting a little taste of in this boring useless set of paragraphs. Sit back and enjoy the useless garbage I'll be typing here, but it's not like I've got anything better to do... MOVING ON...

After finding out the magic of After Effects thanks to our hero X-Cross Pictures (The author of the incredible music video "Breaking") and Irdeen (The epic machinima genius who helped oxhorn), I was able to create projects on my own now. The music video Frontline was going to be an expirimental for me to practise with AE on my own. However this video got the attention of the WoW Rappers and so had asked me join the A6 to machinimate their songs.

Lots of things happened when I met the A6, they really were a set of great people to work with. I'm really grateful that they accepted me as their machinimator and I did what I could in our hit "Honor Killz". As miraculous as this offer may seemed however, it completely blew me off course and I haven't been able to touch a single project of my own so far.

This isn't too bad though, I still enjoy working with them but I've decided to give time to my own projects now until they are complete. I've met other great people along the way who were really friendly to me, they make me log in a vent I once never used everyday now. They were also the bunch to wish me a happy birthday even before my IRL friends! They offered my only gift on my birthday and I'm really thankful to them all. I'm sure you guys know who you are so I'm not gonna list but I just wanna say thanks again ;) <3

I've recently released 5CAP since my MOCK exams were finished. MOCKs are basically a hardened simulation of the FINALS and even though I studied my little ass off casting aside machinima in my schedule, I did horrible and my grades are not looking bright at all. At the momemt they're making me feel like crap but in reality this was all my own fault. 5CAP on the other hand was a short but sweet success, I did what I could to give the fast and furious Nation a nice video to go with a badass song.

What about now? Now I am working on a video for Gigi entitled "Enchants Are A Girl's Best Friend" which I now unfortunately have to put on hold... Don't be surprised but I am going to enter blizcon, even though I know I have a week left and will be competiting with gods like Zimtower and such... I know I don't stand a chance but I really want to work on a project of my own for a change... Working on Music Videos back to back really isn't as fun as i hoped it would be. I need a break from them for now.

My video for Blizcon is top secret and at the moment I just hope I get it done in time.

So basically while I was gone this happened...

Made a piece of Frontline

Frontline got me accepted by Gigi and the gang

We formed A6

We released Honor Killz

I met a hell load of new people

A6 broke up because of a drama I don't really care about.

I released 5Cap a little late for Abandonation due to exams.

I failed those exams.

I agreed to make a few music videos for people

NOW - I'm putting those on hold to do something for myself.

I hope you guys enjoyed my meaningless little paragraphs, I'll keep this updated as much as I can from now. If I feel like it.
